[UPDATE] Hideo Kojima Opens New Studio

Following the seemingly endless cycle of unpleasantness between Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima and Konami, Hideo Kojima has officially opened his own studio. Kojima Productions has now been reborn complete with a spiffy new logo. In a press release issued by the studio, Kojima Productions “will begin focusing its efforts in developing products that will push the boundaries in innovation and ignite consumer interest worldwide.” The new Kojima Productions website can be found at: http://www.kojimaproductions.jp/

That however is just the tip of the iceberg as the studio has also announced a new partnership with Sony to bring its first title to PlayStation. You can view the announcement below:
