
Rockstar Leeds Founder Gordon Hall has passed away
Gordon Hall, who founded the studio, Rockstar Leeds had died at the age of 51. He worked on titles such as GTA: Chinatown Wars, L.A. Noire, and GTA: Liberty City/Vice City stories.
As reported by Gameindustry.biz, the studio began discussing this yesterday. Hall founded the studio as Mobius Entertainment in 1997. The studio made the impressive Max Payne port for Game Boy Advance. It was located in Leeds, England, and in 2004 was bought out by Rockstar Games. The game impressed, Sam Houser, the co-founder of Rockstar to purchase them outright.
He resigned from Rockstar Leeds, and continued to work at Activision’s mobile division in 2012.
