Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds was one of the few games that kickstarted the Battle Royale genre which has been alive since December 2017. It has had numerous updates, and have personally played through it casually. It offers a bit of a more simulation (but not to the point of Miltary Sim) gameplay that emphasis ammo management. With the right group of friends is he heck of a time.
What I didn’t know is that lore was being written for the games because it seemed more like a gameplay focused franchise. It seems like that PUBG is catching up with lore ‘rich’ games such as Blizzard’s Overwatch or Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends which does add additional depth to the world in and out of the battlegrounds.
