Battlefield Actor Michael K. Williams Passes Away at 54

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael K. Williams who was famous for playing Omar Little on HBO’s groundbreaking ‘The Wire’ TV series passed away yesterday, he was 54. He also played characters in shows such as ‘Boardwalk Empire’ and ‘Lovecraft County’. Gaming wise you may have known him as Kimble ‘Irish’ Graves one of the main characters in Battlefield 4 and an operator in the upcoming Battlefield 2042.

“It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams. They ask for your privacy while grieving this insurmountable loss,” his long-time rep Marianna Shafran of Shafran PR told in The Hollywood Reporter link above.
