On April 15th, 2022. XSeed Games has announced that No More Heroes 3 will be arriving on PlayStation 4,5, XBOX Series, and PC this fall!

The official XSeed Games website will be taking pre orders for a limited edition called ‘The Day 1 Edition’ will include a 5.3″x7.3″ softcover artbook contain 70 pages, a 7.4″ Santa Destroy License Plate, a limited CD soundtrack with some musical selections from the game and a new cover illustration by series artist Yusuke Kozaki. More info will be released about the digital versions per the press release.

No More Heroes 3 was first announced sorta in the previous game Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes with a hilarious tease of a third person game in the default Unreal Engine version 4 level. This was sorta emulating the post-credit sequences of a Marvel Cinematic Universe title. The game did suffer from delays due to the Pandemic that has persisted since 2020.

No More Heroes 3 released on The Nintendo Switch last year, and reviewed well. The only criticisms levied at the game were the performance issues having the framerate fluctuate to the 20’s, but with these new ports should rectified. Personally I am looking forward to playing the game physically on PS5 and appreciate that will have a physical release. We are now at the the point that the Fall 2022 Schedule is showing up and not just the annual sports releases or Call of Duties. Hopefully more niche and indie developers show their Fall slate soon enough.
