SEGA announced Monday April 26th that they will delist the digital versions of the stand-alone titles in Sonic Origins. This will include PlayStation and XBox Consoles.

This will include Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD. There are a couple of exceptions – Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 will remain available via SEGA AGES on the Nintendo Switch and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will still be playable via Sega Genesis on Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass.

This is similar to Rockstar which removed all original digital version of the PS2 Trilogy off digital storefronts just before GTA: The Definitive Edition’s Release.

This doesn’t bode well so if you have physical copies keep them.

Conclusion

Overall, Lost Judgment: The Kaito Files is a decent length DLC that is worth 29.99 on its own. If you are jonesing for more traditional Yakuza action it will cure that itch with an interesting side story, slightly tweaked mechanics, and new characters to root/boo for.
